White Oak Bayou Greenway is closed near Studemont where the trail goes under I-10. This is due to the TxDOT I-10 Highway elevation.

In order to maintain trail continuity, TxDOT built a switchback to get trail users up surface level at Studemont, but the connection back to the trail is challenging due to a busy intersection and poor sidewalk connections back to the Heights MKT Trail.
