Use these instructions to visualize fatal crashes in Harris County from 2013-2023

1. Step 1: Query Builder

   Go to the Crash Records Information System (CRIS) Query website:
   https://cris.dot.state.tx.us/public/Query/app/home
   
   CRIS Query
   Select Create a new Query using the Query Builder

2. Step 2: Define Date and Time

   Select Crashes from a range of years with the begin year being 2013 and end year 2023
3. Step 3: Define Crash Location

   Select HARRIS for the County
   

4. Step 4. Search for Fatal Crashes by adding Additional Filters

   Field: Person Injury Severity
   Select Operator: Is In
   Select Value: K – FATAL INJURY
   

5. Step 5. Visualize Results on a Map

   Select View Results and View Results on a Map
